Photos for student ID and class list

Learners take their portrait photo on their phone. You collect it checked and cropped, without a photo shoot at school.

Uses

The photos a school needs

  • Student ID

The photo for the ID card, 35 × 45 mm at 300 dpi for printing.

  • Class list

The photo in 4:5 format, with a little more room around the head, for the overview of a class.

  • Microsoft 365

With PortraitBridge the checked photo becomes the profile picture in Teams and Outlook.

  • List from the school system

Paste the list from Excel or connect your school system through the interface. Each file is named after the ID number.

How it works

Three steps, one link

  1. Invite

Paste a list from Excel or add people one by one. Each person gets their link by SMS or email.

  2. Capture

The person opens the link on their phone. The live check says what to change before they take the photo.

  3. Collect

You see who has submitted and download the photos as a ZIP: one folder per format, each file named after the person's number.

Frequent questions

Student photos: what schools want to know

Do learners need an app or an account?

No. The link opens in the phone's browser. Whoever opens it on a computer moves to the phone with a QR code.

What about learners without a phone?

The office takes the photo on-site, at the console's webcam or at a kiosk. You upload existing photos; they go through the same check.

How do the photos reach the school administration?

As a ZIP with one folder per format, each file named after the person's number. Or your school system collects them through the interface.

What happens if a photo is not right?

The live check says what to change before the photo is taken. If you reject a photo, the person receives a new link with a tip.
